Jackson's First Doctor's Appointment

We love our pediatrician, and I was so excited to introduce Jackson to Dr. Douglass. As always, she took her time and was so sweet and gentle with our baby boy. Jackson put on 2 ounces in 2 days, which was great news that he is getting enough to eat and that my milk is coming in nicely. Dr. Douglass did see the beginning signs of jaundice, but because of Jackson's weight gain did not feel that it was necessary to check his blood. Instead, she recommended that we come back next week for a weight check. So, for now I am just keeping my eye on him and making sure that he is eating often and has enough poopy and pee diapers. Other than watching for jaundice, Dr. Douglass said that he looks great. It is always great to hear that your baby is healthy!
