I just had the best belly laugh thanks to my son. We were upstairs doing laundry when I turned around to see Charlie sucking on a pacifier. What's so funny? Well, we took Charlie's pacifiers away on his first birthday because I had heard horror stories about trying to pry them away from older children. I thought I had cleared the house of all pacifiers, but apparently I missed one. When I turned to see my big boy sucking away on that paci, it just tickled me. He seems so grown up these days, that it was hilarious to see him using something from his baby days. Not to worry, the paci is in the trash. There will be no Paci Fairy visiting this house.

Brooke is almost 3 years old and came across a pacifier not too long ago (which she never even used in the first place...she's a finger sucker) and she walked around with it in her mouth for a long time and I let her because she looked so darn cute/funnny! However, I started to get a little worried that she was going to attached to it! She even put up a fight when I tried to take it away!
Speak of the devil...I was reorganizing Brooke's closet today and out fell the pacifers. She popped on right in her mouth! I finally had to hide them from her because she would not stop sucking on it! It's so funny because she never even used one!!
