My New Ride

We have been going back and forth about whether or not to buy a car with more room for our family. We have been researching and looking at all different types of cars for months now. Today, we finally made up our minds and went to buy our new car.

As soon as Nick came home with the car tonight, we loaded the car seats and took our maiden voyage as a family. Here are pictures of the boys watching a DVD and playing in the car while Nick got the car seats ready. We took this opportunity to switch out the baby carrier for a big boy convertible car seat (sniff). Now the boys have matching seats in the back.

That's right folks! We are now the proud owners of a Honda Odyssey (along with half of America). I have realized that there is a very good reason why every other car on the road is a minivan. It's because they ROCK! If you have children, a minivan is really a practical choice, and I am nothing if not a practical girl. I love my new ride!

The last photo is of Charlie enjoying a Bruster's ice cream cone. That smart kiddo actually requested that we take our first trip to get ice cream. It sounded like a great idea to us!
