I am very pregnant in this photo. The picture was taken at 8.5 months. We always took pictures half way through the month, because I had just started to get a bump at 4.5 months. I can remember looking at this picture after Nick had taken it. I had a moment of panic when I saw just how big my belly was. All sorts of questions and concerns ran through my head: How much bigger could I possibly get? Would my stomach ever look the same after I gave birth? Would my belly button really pop out? The human body is an amazing thing. Even after getting bigger and having my belly button pop out, my stomach looks pretty much the same. Don't get me wrong, things are much mushier and I have the stretch marks to remind me of just how big I got. In the end, I would do it a million times over just to be Charlie's mommy.
