38 Week Baby Update

My doctor's appointment this week went very well. I am 1-2 cm dilated and 40% effaced. Jackson's head is still high, which was a shock to me since it feels like he is about to fall out. Because my body is making progress towards delivery, my doctor's have agreed to schedule an induction for next Friday, January 22nd. I am still waiting for confirmation from the scheduling department, but it looks like Jackson will be here in about a week...CRAZY!

It feels wonderful to know when we will meet our little man, but I am also in shock that it is really time. This pregnancy has been such a wild ride. As much as I have complained about the aches and pains, I know how fortunate I am to have had a healthy pregnancy. This may very well be my last baby, so I am a little sad to see this part of the adventure come to an end.
